Agreement for the sale of a cat or kitten
About this service
This agreement sets out the terms and conditions of sale for a cat or kitten and requires the signatures of both the seller and buyer to be witnessed by an independent adult.
The seller confirms details of the cats health, vaccination history and eligibility for the UK Pet Passport scheme; the buyer promises to care for the cat and to obtain a similar promise from any future owner.
It is suitable for the sale and purchase of a new kitten from a breeder or dealer as a family pet, or the sale and purchase of a kitten or a grown cat from a private owner. It is not suitable where the cat or kitten is being sold for commercial purposes, e.g. breeding.
