Richard Cohen
Chairman
A qualified solicitor, Richard founded Landau & Cohen Solicitors before joining Epoq in 1998 as Joint CEO and is now Chairman & Head of Institutional Sales. He served on the Solicitors Regulation Authority Working Group for the introduction of Alternative Business Structures, in addition to the Legal Services Policy Institute's think tank looking at the Legal Services Act and the Legal Services Consumer Panel relating to referrals. Richard has presented at a number of conferences and seminars including those hosted by the Law Society, Central Law Training (CLT), LawNet, IRIS and the College of Law.
In 2011, Richard was nominated for the FT Innovative Lawyers Legal Innovator of the Year Award. -
Grahame Cohen
Founder & Innovation Director
Grahame is a computer technologist and the founder of Epoq. For over a decade he has been directly involved in implementing document automation and Web technologies to leverage trends in the legal services market. In 2009, he was instrumental in the launch of DirectLaw, Epoq's innovative online solution designed specifically for the small to medium-sized law firm. Grahame presents regularly at conferences and seminars, most recently for the Law Society, Legal Futures, IRIS and Professional Conferences.

Hillel Horwitz
Chief Operating Officer
After graduating from University College London with a degree in Economics, Hillel started his career on NatWest's graduate training programme. After four years spent in branch and mid-corporate lending, he gained a promotion to Assistant Manager on a leading IT project. He then joined a Bank of Ireland subsidiary which ran the Post Office's foreign exchange service, helping take it from a 0% to a 12% market share in four years. As Senior Operations Manager, Hillel was second in command, responsible for 50 staff. At Epoq, Hillel takes ultimate responsibility for the smooth running of the company, leading, managing and recruiting staff as required. He helps to formulate strategic and operational objectives and then ensures they are achieved.
